Learn To Get Healthy

Let me start by telling you where I was almost a year ago, I was 30 years old, 5ft 9inches tall and 195lbs. Now by no means was I extremely over weight, or obese, but I was sadly out of shape, and had found myself with the infamous pear shape. My problem was as I got older I continued to eat like was a teenager, drinking any where between 10-15 soft drinks per day, all kinds of junk food, and my only exercise was…well…there was none. I was a father of 3 beautiful girls, owned my own business and honestly just felt like I didn’t have the time to exercise, or the desire.

So one night I was sitting around watching tv, with what I’m sure was a big bowl of chips, and a 2 liter of Dr. Pepper close with in reach, and probably some ice cream in the freezer when the P90X commercial came on. I remember watching this commercial laughing at these idiots on the tv, because in my infinite wisdom I was positive that there was no way it was possible to get those kind of results in 90 days. Before long, for what ever reason, found myself asking if I believed what I just saw, and it wasn’t long after that found myself wondering if this program could actually work? So I figured “What the heck, I’ll give it a try”, Surely I could devote an hour a day for 90 days, besideswhat have I got to lose other than a few extra pounds, and let’s be honest who doesn’t want to be ripped. So I made the call and waited for my new exercise program to arrive in the mail, I was ready to start losing the flab, burning some fat and building lean muscle or at least I thought I was.

In the past I’ve made several un successful attempts at some other exercise programs, and for some odd reason I always fell short of my goal. AHHH who am I kidding I didn’t even make it any where near my goal, most of the time the video’s never even make it out of the box, mainly because I’m lazy, and un motivated. For what ever reason these were different, maybe it was because they weren’t super cheap, or maybe it’s because I was just tired of going down hill who knows why, bottom line I was determine to make a go it. So I patiently waited for my video’s to arrive, all the while convincing myself that in just 90 short days I was going to be a lean mean fighting machine. Yes I know, I’m gullable and I believe in little fairies that fly around and grant people wishes.

After about 7 days I got the video’s, I opened up the package and was amazed at everything that came along with it, I was starting to think that this could be a little more than what I bargained for(and it only took about 10 minutes of the first P90X video for me to KNOW this was more than I bargained for).

At the same time I started the P90X workouts, and gave everything I had to the program,the very first day I thought I was going to pass out, or throw up, I can never remember working so hard, even when I was in the military and doing push ups and what not everyday, I found myself more winded doing these workots. It was truly grueling, but I got through it, and thought to myself how glad I was to have that over, only to wake up the next morning to find muscles I didn’t even know I had were sore. Don’t get me wrong even though I was in pain, it felt good in a strange way, I knew I had accomplished something and was on my way to a better me.

Swish Swoosh Swash(that’s my sound of traveling through a time portal as we fast forward) 10 months later, I’m now in the best shape of my life, and I continue to do the P90X workouts 6 days a week, I feel better, have more energy, and am definitely in the best shape of my life from following through with this program.

Even during ancient times, people were already using the power of aromatherapy to heal. Essential oils from flowers and herbs are used because of the fragrance and it therapeutic ability. They are offered as a sacrifice to gods and goddess to heal the body, ensure the harvest and to help maintain peace and wellbeing.

During the old times aromatherapy was mainly used for the sole purpose of offering gifts to God. The smoke or the aroma of the oil is believed to be attractive to Gods and Goddesses which in turn was intended to make the offering or gifts pleasurable to them.

There are appropriate scents to use for certain rituals, purifications and awareness of psychic ability. Once people practicing a ritual smelled the aroma, it would strengthen and utilize their energy level. These processes have been practiced by people all over the world from centuries ago until now.

Today, while normal aromatherapy uses oils only for massage and inhalation to help released tension and stress, ritual oils that are used are targeted for a more extensive process.

Aromatherapy for ritual is for some kind of broader perspective such as having financial stability, seeking love, attracting good luck and more. During the therapy it is believed that these oils allow bioelectrical to pull psychic energy together and then allowing the desired change to happen.

During the process, the practitioner becomes receptor of the conscious mind. The aroma stimulates bioelectrical energies to claim the central nervous system. It weakens the tension of the muscles so that the psychological awareness will be stronger. Once the aroma is aligned with the strong energy, it projects into the atmosphere and creates change.

When the oil has been heated it will create a nice therapeutic smell which will revitalize the body naturally. This is a simple way to start making a change in your life.
