I personally believe it’s your choice weather to get an abortion or to not get an abortion. And it’s NEVER OK to laugh at something as serious and as difficult as making that decision. To the girl who laughed, you should be ashamed of your self. I’m sure your sister will think of the choice she made for the rest of her life. What could a little support from a family member hurt? Despite your personal thoughts on the issue, I’m sure she probably needed someone to be there for her.
there are almost no health risks associated with clinical abortions in america today, and those that are there occur very rarely. however i can tell you this. i am a mortician, and i’ve seen many religious folks try to do an at home coat hanger job, and a few have ended up on my table. bottom line; when abortion is illegal, women seek unsafe alternatives, which leads to death.
I don’t know TOO much about abortions, but obviously the mental and emotional scars it can leave on the mother are significant. Some women can never get over the feeling of guilt and regret. I guess you could expand on that.. I wish I could help you more, but I would google it.

Well my sister had one about 4 or so months ago, and well she’s pregnant again, by someone else that she’s only known for 1 1/2 months, and she’s planning on keeping it. What an idiot, and she’s only 19…Sorry had to vent.
well my sister got an abortion…and she had to stay in the hospital because her vagina ripped during the procedure.

It can cause infertility (not likely, but possible). You should be able to find plenty info on the internet about the risks.
