This can be done by using various techniques and one of the methods, which the Buddhist use for their mediation is the Tibetan Singing bowls. They are even referred to as a Himalayan Singing Bowls as it has instigated mainly from Nepal, Bhutan, Mongolia, India, China, Tibet, and Afghanistan.

    The popularity of the singing bowl is expected to have spread through the trade routes. It is also believed that Buddha, Padmasambhava, may have travelled across Himalaya from India to Tibet. Historians cannot determine the exact time from when singing bowls came in practise but they were first used in India almost 3000 years ago and in Tibet 1000 years ago.

    Different people have different beliefs and it is same when they talk about the singing bowl. Some say it was initially used as a begging bowl and for food. Some monasteries even use it as a trophy or prize to give it to others. Smith, who used to travel from one place to another usually collected the things and materials in the journey and made the bowls out of It., while some thought it was the make of monks. Theses all the stories related to a singing bowl but the fact is that it is a special type of bell. This bell is not hanging but it rests on its bottom. Although there were so many stories behind this bell but still it is used by the people for medication and offering prayers and is a holy thing.

    Ancient Tibetan singing bowls were generally made from seven different metals including gold, silver, mercury, copper, tin and iron. Theories are also there that these bowls were made from the remains of meteorites. The sound produced by the singing bowl would differ upon how the different quantities of metals are mixed together. The metals were mixed to form an alloy, which was left to cool before being beaten up in the form of bowl. Evidences have been found that many bowls had been made from more than seven metals, which support the myth of travelling smiths. Because of all the precious ingredients in the alloy, ancient bowls have a much richer sound than the bowls made today.

    The singing bowls, which is made of a cast metal, does not possess good quality. These bowls are very smooth and an easy to play. You can get a bowl, which is made by a hand hammered method, but still the ancient bowl are heavenly. If you want to play a bowl, it is not a difficult task you can play any types of bowls within few minutes only.

    For playing a Tibetan singing bowl you just need to circle a stick outside the bowl very slowly, a continuous circling will produce a steady rhythm, and the slight hum will rise. It has even a capacity of producing multi-phonic sounds along with multiple harmonic overtones. The fact of this sound produced is the use of an alloys as individual alloy mixture produce various sounds. The sound produced b the modern bowls are not of very high quality and only mono phonic sound but if they are made of cheap alloys if made of bronze then can produce multiple harmonic sounds.

    Tibetan Singing Bowls are of great help for the one to mediate, concentrate, and think about the super power. One of the prime places of application of bowls in is yoga classes. One can play the bowl and other can listen which will create an atmosphere that soothes one ear and mind a lot. T he sound that comes out from the bell is so powerful that keep your surroundings free from the bad souls.

    This is a belief of the Buddhist to use this bowl but you can even use it in the outside environment and even at your home. In the west, you will find the people knowing about it more and used by them as a sacred thing and even for yoga exercise. You can even use it to produce water memory effects. It is not easy to understand the figures about the lung cancer survival rate.

    You really have to understand how these are put together and what exactly they represent.

    There are factors that influence how these rates are determined and what you see in the rates may not be exactly what you think.

    The Nitty-Gritty

    Lung Cancer Survival Rate statements refer to a group of people suffering from one specific type of lung cancer, at a certain stage.

    Survival statistics may also indicate rates for people suffering from lung cancer at any stage of the disease.

    Usually the survival statistics relate to the survival rate after 5 years, no matter if the person still has cancer or is in remission.

    It is important that you understand these statistics are based upon a large group and are averages. They can predict what the survival rate will be for any particular person, as every case is different.

    Survival Rate Factors

    As I have written above that, many things influence the lung cancer survival rate statistics. Below are some factors that can alter survival rates area:

    * The stage

    * Cancer type

    * Symptoms present

    * Health condition in general

    * The date of cancer diagnosis

    When a doctor gives patient information on the possible outcome of their diagnosis, it is based upon a general idea of what happens in the average case.

    It is really an estimate and not an exact science.

    Lung Cancer Survival Rate in Averag

    For those diagnosed with early stage of lung cancer, the average survival rate is 49%, which means out of 100 people only 49 live for at least five years after diagnosis.

    People diagnosed with lung cancer that has spread have only 3% of survival rate or only 3 out of 100 people live 5 years after diagnosis.

    Using Lung Cancer Survival Rates

    Now you can begin to understand how lung cancer survival rates may be used since you already understand what lung cancer survival rate statistics means.

    The most common use is to help patients understand what lies ahead for them in dealing with the disease and the possibility of their death.
