Next attempt to consciously expand this fringe of your peripheral vision outwards. Attempt to push the boundary of your peripheral vision outwards, such as you are putting power into expanding your peripheral eyesight outwards. After you practice performing this a couple of instances, you will notice that you can actively push your peripheral eyesight outwards. It requires effort in the beginning, nevertheless you’ll begin to obtain the sense of becoming in a position to see what is further out to the sides of you. As you continue to push your peripheral vision out further, some thing clicks and nearly instantly you will also start to become aware and get a sense of what is also behind you.
You will notice that when you begin to ’see’ past your peripheral eyesight to incorporate what is behind you. This seeing is in your feeling, in your sensing. While you push the extent of your peripheral eyesight outwards, you’ll get a sense which you can really feel what is also behind you.
Once you’ve gotten this sense, subsequently go for a brief walk practicing pushing the boundary of one’s 3-D vision to also feel what is behind you. This is like possessing a perception of a 360 degree field of vision. Once more, as you heighten this sense it will take you closer in to the spiritual realm past the one we usually see. This is the way indigenous people within their natural state see the world. They invest about 90% of their time in their peripheral eyesight and around 10% of their time in their targeted vision.
You’ll probably notice there’s much less tension within the muscle tissue of your facial muscles and eyes while in your peripheral eyesight. The reason for this really is that it permits our mind to relax. For example, being in your peripheral vision for just two minutes slows your mind wave forms in the ‘beta’ or problem solving state down in to the ‘alpha’ or relaxed state. Merely going into your 3-D sense of eyesight throughout the day will soften your mind down whenever you are feeling stressed. Plus you’ll also pick up a lot more information inside your visual field, particularly movement.
The next most utilized perception within our modern civilization and the vision quest is the perception of sound. Nevertheless, compared to native indigenous individuals we’ve severely contracted our sense of sound. Instead of having a sense of 360 degree stereo surround sound we’re often restricted within the amount we hear.
Uncover precisely how to do your own vision quest immersed within the wonder and mystery of the wilderness.

Being able to think about oneself from a positive perspective is very important when it comes to happiness and an overall sense of well-being.
For a long time now you may have been trapped by your own negative thought processes. These habitual thought processes may be keeping you in a rut-not in many aspects of your life.
I had a tough time overcoming negative thinking during my early twenties. At this stage of my life, I began viewing things from a negative perspective. The shift happened to gradually that I didn’t notice I was viewing things from s negative perspective. It took overwhelming feelings of fear, doubt and anxiety for me to recognize that I needed to start improving the way in which I thought about myself and my life.
Needless to say, the doubt and anxiety really took a toll on my confidence. Over time I felt beaten down and tired.
In order to begin feeling better, I had to start reprogramming how I thought about things. My habitual thought processes had to change. A new more healthy way of thinking had to be learned.
For you, right now, it may seem hard to believe that you can begin feeling better by simply viewing your life and yourself from a more positive perspective. It’s important to understand that it is impossible to begin feeling incredible overnight-however with time and persistence positive thinking will create positive emotions inside you.
Take your time with this process. Big noticeable changes do not typically occur right from the get go. However with time you will notice that you begin to feel better. As an example, instead of thinking “that guy just cut me off, what an awful person”, try thinking “that guy just cut me off, I am happy that I do not drive like that.” Small changes in thought can have a dramatic impact on the way a person feels over time.
Changing your thinking is much like running a marathon. You can not expect to be able to sprint to the finish. Instead take your time. Remain persistent and consistent. Slowly and surely continue improving and keep up a pace that feels good for you.
There is no point in “sprinting to the finish” because if you are feeling bad right now, it is impossible for you to immediately begin feeling good. Changing your thinking happens one slightly more positive thought at a time. With each slightly more positive thought, you are moving towards feeling slightly better.
Make small improvements in your thinking, and relish in the relief gained through each improved thought.
